Öz

Mevcut eğitim sistemi içerisinde yaşanan gelişmeler ve değişimler söz konusu olduğunda çoğunlukla yapılan çalışmaların süreç içerisinde en çok paya sahip olduğu bilinmektedir. Müzik eğitimi sistemi içerisinde de yenilikçi yaklaşımlar ve doğru öğretim tekniklerini destekleyen bilimsel çalışmaların eğitim sürecinde rehber olarak yer edindiği söylenebilir. Bu doğrultuda, müzik eğitimi alanında yapılmış olan çalışmaların genel olarak sistemsel bir şekilde ortaya konulması gerektiği düşüldüğünden bu araştırma yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, müzik eğitimi alanında yapılmış çalışmaların çeşitli değişkenler üzerinden eğilimlerini ortaya koymak amacı güdülmüştür. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışmada bibliyometrik analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan veriler Web of Science (WOS) veri tabanı kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Çalışmada, elde edilen veriler çeşitli değişkenlere göre filtrelenerek 3080 bilimsel çalışmaya ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada, bilimsel çalışmaların yıllara göre dağılımları, ülkelerin üretkenliği, yazarların başka ülkelerde bulunan yazarlarla iş birliği yapma düzeyleri, yayın yapılan dergilerin etki değerleri, alan yazarlarının etki değerleri, çalışmaların tematik analizleri ve çalışmalarda kullanılan anahtar kelimelerin sıklıkları ortaya konulmuştur. Sonuç olarak müzik eğitimi alanında, 2017 yılında en yüksek çalışma sayına ulaşıldığı, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nin en üretken ülke olduğu, yapılan çalışmalara oranla en çok iş birliğinin Finlandiya’da yapılan çalışmalarda olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. En çok yayın yapılan derginin “International Journal of Music Education” olduğu, alıntılanma düzeyinde en etkin derginin “Journal of Research in Music Education” olduğu belirlenmiştir. Hallam ve Creech isimli yazarların en fazla etki değerine sahip oldukları gözlemlenmiştir. Son yıllarda en çok kullanılan kelime ve başlıkların “müzik öğretmeni”, “müzik eğitimi” ve “informal müzik eğitimi” başlıklarında “yetenek”, “performans” ve “müzikal gelişim” olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu bulgulardan hareketle, müzik eğitimi alanındaki mevcut durumun anlaşılabildiği ve gelecekteki araştırmalara rehberlik edebilecek nitelikte bir çalışma olduğu söylenebilir. Müzik eğitimi alanındaki bu bibliyometrik analiz çalışması, alanın gelişimine katkı sağlayacak bir temel oluşturmayı amaçladığından, müzik eğitimi alanındaki araştırmacılar ve karar vericiler için önemli bir kaynak olabileceği düşünülmektedir.

Öz

When it comes to the developments and changes in the current education system, it is known that the studies mostly have the most share in the process. It can be said that scientific studies that support innovative approaches and correct teaching techniques within the music education system have a place as a guide in the education process. In this direction, this research was carried out because it was thought that the studies in the field of music education should be put forward in a systematic way. In the research, it was aimed to reveal the trend of the studies in the field of music education on various variables. For this purpose, bibliometric analysis method was used in the study. The data used in the research were obtained using the Web of Science (WOS) database. In the study, the obtained data were filtered according to various variables and 3080 scientific studies were reached. In the research, the distribution of scientific studies by years, the productivity of countries, the level of cooperation of authors with authors from other countries, the effect values of the journals published, the effect values of the field authors, the thematic analyzes of the studies and the frequency of the keywords used in the studies were revealed. As a result, it was concluded that in the field of music education, the highest number of studies was reached in 2017, the United States was the most productive country, and the most collaboration was in the studies conducted in Finland compared to the studies conducted. It has been determined that the most published journal is the "International Journal of Music Education", and the most effective journal at the citation level is the "Journal of Research in Music Education". It was observed that the authors named Hallam and Creech had the most impact value. It has been concluded that the most used words and titles in recent years are "talent", "performance" and "musical development" in the titles of "music teacher", "music education" and "informal music education". Based on these findings, it can be said that it is a study that can understand the current situation in the field of music education and guide future research. Since this bibliometric analysis study in the field of music education aims to create a basis that will contribute to the development of the field, it is thought to be an important resource for researchers and decision makers in the field of music education.
