Self-efficacy sub-dimension is higher than the other sub-dimensions of the academic optimism term. Because of the research, it observed that the gender dimension forms a meaningful difference in the self-efficacy dimension of the academic optimism. Study results reveal that there is no meaningful difference in graduate level, professional seniority, number of teachers at the same school and the school type variables on school academic optimism. By looking at analysis results, it clearly understood that there is a positive low-level relationship between teachers’ political skills and school academic optimism levels. Again, secondary school teachers’ networking ability dimension of political skills has a meaningful prediction on school academic optimism of the teachers, but the other sub-dimensions have no meaningful prediction on academic optimism. Yet, high school teachers’ political skill levels have no meaningful effect on their school academic optimism levels.
