MEB Kültür Yayınları Çocuk Kitapları Dizisi Üzerine Bir İnceleme; Hikâye Edici Kitapların Türleri, Temaları, Kök Değerleri ve Çatışma Türleri / An Analysis on the Children's Book Series of Ministry of National Education Culture Publications; Literary Genres, Themes, Root Values, Types of Conflict of Narrative Books

In this research, it is aimed to examine the narrative texts in the Children's Books Series in the MEB Culture Publications mobile application. In this direction, the books were evaluated with the document-material analysis technique in accordance with the structure of the qualitative research. In the study process, the story books in the Ministry of National Education Culture Publications Children's Book Series were determined as research material. During the research process, 35 books were examined using the Story Book Review List (HIL), which was created as a data collection tool. In line with the data collection tool, the books were classified in terms of genre, and conflict types. In addition, the books discussed in the research process were evaluated in terms of themes and root values in the Turkish Curriculum. According to the results of the research, it was determined that the books mostly included stories and comics in terms of genres; It has been determined that fables, tales, legends, novels, plays, cartoons and humorous anecdotes are rarely included. In terms of the themes in the Turkish Lesson Curriculum, it is stated that the narrative texts about the themes of Virtues, National Struggle and Atatürk and our National Culture are more intense; It has been determined that the books on the themes of Nature and Universe, Rights and Freedoms, Communication, Reading Culture, Health and Sports and Science and Technology are quite limited. In terms of root values, the books focus on the values of patriotism, benevolence and patience; It was determined that the values of honesty, love, justice, friendship and self-control were given less place. In terms of conflict types, in narrative texts, there is often conflict between characters and the character's own internal conflict; It has been determined that conflict with nature and conflict with society are less common.

Bu araştırmada MEB Kültür Yayınları mobil uygulamasında yer alan Çocuk Kitapları Dizisindeki hikâye edici kitapların incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda kitaplar nitel araştırmanın yapısına uygun olarak doküman-materyal incelemesi tekniği ile değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma sürecinde MEB Kültür Yayınları Çocuk Kitapları Dizisinde yer alan hikâye edici kitaplar araştırma materyali olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sürecinde 35 kitap veri toplama aracı olarak oluşturan Hikâye Edici Kitap İnceleme Listesi (HİL) kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Veri toplama aracı doğrultusunda kitaplar Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programında yer alan tür, tema ve kök değerler açısından ve ayrıca çatışma türleri açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre kitaplarda tür açısından yoğun olarak hikâye ve çizgi roman türündeki eserlere yer verildiği; fabl, masal, efsane, roman, tiyatro, karikatür ve mizahi fıkra türündeki eserlere nadiren yer verildiği belirlenmiştir. Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programında yer alan temalar açısından ise Erdemler, Millî Mücadele, Atatürk ve Milli Kültürümüz ve Vatandaşlık temalarıyla ilgili hikâye edici metinlerin daha yoğun olduğu; Doğa ve Evren, Hak ve Özgürlükler, İletişim, Okuma Kültürü, Sağlık ve Spor ve Bilim ve Teknoloji temalarıyla ilgili kitapların oldukça sınırlı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Kök değerler açısından kitapların vatanseverlik, yardımseverlik ve sabır değerleri üzerine yoğunlaştığı; dürüstlük, sevgi, adalet, dostluk ve özdenetim değerlerine daha az yer verildiği görülmüştür. Çatışma türleri açısından ise hikâye edici metinlerde sıklıkla karakterler arasında çatışma ve karakterin kendi iç çatışmasının yer aldığı; tabiat ile çatışma ve toplum ile çatışma türünün daha az bulunduğu belirlenmiştir.
