INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

Candidate articles should be prepared in current versions of the Microsoft Word program. Images and graphics used in the text should be able to be opened on computers using the Windows operating system.

All texts in candidate manuscripts should be written in “Garamond” font. The title of the candidate manuscripts should be in capital letters, bold, centered and 11 points. In candidate manuscripts , the value between paragraphs should be 3 pt first and then 3 pt.
The ÖZ and ABSTRACT parts of the candidate manuscripts should be written in "Garamond" font, 10 points including the title, and single-spaced.
The main text should be written in "Garamond" font, 11 font size including the headings, and the lines should be single-spaced. The text should include the introduction, research text, findings, comments, conclusions and recommendations within a certain plan. The headings in the manuscript should be structured according to the APA 7 heading system without numbering. Candidate manuscripts must have one line space before the titles. Detailed information is available in the file named manuscript template in the system. The following examples are available for heading levels:

First Level Heading (Centered, Bold, Capitalized First Letters of Words)

Second Level Heading (Left aligned, Bold, First Letter of Words Capitalized)

Third Level Heading (Left aligned, Bold, Italic, First Letter of Words)

    Fourth Level Title. (Indented, Bold, First Letters of Words, Ends with Period).

   Fifth Level Title. (Indented, Bold, Italic, First Letters of Words, Ends with Period).

If the footnotes are given at the bottom of the page in the candidate manuscripts , they should be written in 9 font size and single-spaced.
For page layout values, the formatting of the manuscript template file must be applied.

Tables or figures can be used in candidate manuscript. It is recommended to briefly present the table before the tables. Tables should not have vertical lines, tables should consist of only 3 horizontal lines. Tables should be numbered with the Add Caption option on the References tab in Microsoft Word. The number and name of the table should be given in a single line above the table, centered, with the first letter of each word capitalized, excluding the conjunctions. Tables and numbers should be Bold.

For example, Table 1. Table Title. Table titles and text size should be set to 10 points. The text in the table should be left aligned. Note just below the table. The necessary additional information and explanations should be given with the title.

Figures (graphs, charts, maps, drawings, photographs, etc.) can be used in candidate manuscripts. Figures should be numbered with the Add Caption option on the References tab in Microsoft Word. The number and name of the figure should be given below the figure in a single line, centered, with the first letter of each word capitalized, excluding the conjunctions. Shape and Number should be Bold. For example, Figure 1. Figure Title. Note just below the shape. The necessary additional information and explanations should be given with the title.

The names of the authors should not appear in the candidate manuscripts.

The reference will be based on the 7th edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) Publication Manual. In this context;

a) Authors should give the information that they believe should not be directly related to the subject but should be included in the work, by giving a sequence number to the upper right corner of the relevant word in the text, with the same number and 9 font size, 1 line spacing, as a footnote.

b) Titles for Tables, Figures and Graphs in case of a large number of indicators other than normal text such as Tables, Figures and Graphs; It should be written as APPENDIX Table 1, APPENDIX Graph 3 and APPENDIX Figure 7, ANNEXES should be given after REFERENCES at the end of the text. References to these indicators in the text must be made in the form of APPENDIX Table 1, APPENDIX Graph 3 or Supplementary Figure 7. If citations are made for tables, figures, graphics and pictures, the source must be specified. The titles of the annexes in question should be 11 points, the first letters of the words should be capitalized and bold.

c) All sources used in the manuscripts sent to the journal are given at the end of the publication under the title of "References", in alphabetical order according to the surname of the author, in accordance with APA 7 rules. The bibliography should be written in "Garamond" font, 11 pt and single-spaced.

Dissertation

References for doctorate and master's theses are handled under two headings as published and unpublished theses. Unpublished theses are generally those obtained in print directly from the institution itself. In the references of unpublished doctoral and master's theses, the name of the university is indicated as the source. Sample:

Published theses are those that are accessed from any database (For example, ProQuest, National Thesis Center, etc.), university archives or personal web pages. In published doctoral and master's theses, the name of the university is shown in corner brackets right after the title of the thesis. Sample:
