The Journal of Basic Education is a peer-reviewed, academic journal that publishes for pre-school and primary school education. In this context, the journal publishes quality studies on all topics that are up-to-date, whose research findings and design are of national and international importance. The journal gives priority to studies that have a strong theoretical framework, critically correlate the relevant literature with the subject, well-structured research design and analysis, and include recommendations and conclusions for national and international advanced research and policy applications. The journal includes studies that deal with the subject of education from a theoretical perspective and provide practical insights into the subject. In this framework, original research, experimental and clinical studies, policy analyzes and case reports from different disciplines are published. The aim of the journal is to be a medium for international and interdisciplinary original scientific studies, to produce qualified discussions about education and to contribute to the shaping of education policies in Turkey. For this reason, it is expected that the studies to be published will provide new and original contributions to the discussions on education as well as technical competence. Thus, it is aimed to contribute to the formation of an accumulation that will benefit people and/or institutions working in the field of education in Turkey.

Özel Sayı Makale Çağrısı
Dergimizde eğitimin sosyo-kültürel, antropolojik ve tarihi boyutu ile ilgili İngilizce "özel sayı" yayımlanacaktır. Yayımlanan bu sayı dizinlenmesi amacıyla yurt dışındaki dizinlere gönderilecektir. Makale kabulü ile ilgili henüz bir son tarih belirlenmemiştir. Konu ile ilgili bilgi almak için mfdogan@yildiz.edu.tr adresinden iletişim sağlayabilirsiniz. Makale gönderimi DergiPark sistemi üzerinden değil öncelikle belirtilen e-posta adresi üzerinden gerçekleştirilecektir. Özel sayı için kabul edilen makale süreçleri ön onay sonrasında DergiPark sistemi üzerinden yürütülecektir. Bu sebeple makale önerilerinizi ve taslaklarınızı öncelikle ilgili e-posta adresi aracılığı ile editör kurulumuza göndermeniz gerekmektedir.
Uluslararası Kitap Bölümü Çağrısı
Dergimiz bünyesinde "Uluslararası Yayınevi" statüsündeki bir yayınevi işbirliğiyle ilkokulda ve sınıf öğretmeni yetiştirmede Fen Bilimleri eğitimi konu alanı kapsamında uluslararası kitap yayımlanacaktır. Yayımlanacak olan kitap yeni doçentlik kriterlerine uygundur. Kitap yayımının ardından “Web of Science Book Citation Index”e dizinlenmek üzere gönderilecektir.
