Examination of Articles Related to Educational Technologies

The use of technology has increased in many fields and branches of science in daily life in today's societies in the 21st century. The aim of this research is to determine the trends of academic articles published on educational technologies. Examining the articles on educational technologies is important in terms of revealing the general characteristics and problems of the academic publications in this field and making suggestions for future studies. Case study, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. The study group of the research was determined by the criterion sampling method. The criteria are that the articles were completed in the last three years, can be accessed from the Dergipark database, and are in Turkish language and original. For this reason, in the scope of the study, 126 articles published between 2018-2020 were examined in terms of various variables. In this research, the data were obtained by document review. Descriptive analysis was being used in the analysis of the data to were obtained within the scope of the research. In the articles examined according to the results of the research, technology and teacher-student relationship came to the fore as subject, mostly qualitative research method, case study, easily accessible sampling method and content analysis were used. Related articles have mostly two authors and their number has increased gradually over the years.

Teknoloji kullanımı 21.yüzyıl günümüz toplumlarında günlük hayatta birçok alanda ve birçok bilim dalında artmıştır. Bu araştırmanın amacı eğitim teknolojileri ile ilgili yayımlanan akademik makalelerin eğilimlerinin belirlenmesidir. Eğitim teknolojileri ile ilgili makalelerin incelenmesi, bu alanda yapılan akademik yayınların genel özelliklerinin, sorunlarının ortaya konulması ve ileride yapılacak çalışmalar için öneriler getirilmesi açısından önemlidir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi ve durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu ölçüt örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenmiştir. Ölçütler, makalelerin son üç yıl içinde tamamlanmış, Dergipark veri tabanından erişilebiliyor, dilinin Türkçe ve özgün makale olmasıdır. Bu nedenle araştırma kapsamında 2018-2020 yılları arasında yayınlanan 126 makale çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmiştir. Bu araştırmada veriler doküman incelemesiyle elde edilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen verilerin analizinde ise betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre incelenen makalelerde konu olarak teknoloji ile öğretmen ve öğrenci ilişkisi ön plana çıkmış, çoğunlukla nitel araştırma yöntemi, durum çalışması, kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi ve içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. İlgili makaleler çoğunlukla iki yazarlı olup sayıları yıllara göre giderek artmıştır.
