Journal of Theory and Practice in Sport Open Access Policy

JTPS, TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, an open source journal preparation and publishing software, uses the Open Journal Systems software DergiPark ULAKBİM Journal Systems as a Sponsor Institution within the DergiPark Project.


In accordance with the main definitions of open access in the scientific literature (i.e. the Budapest, Berlin and Bethesda statements), JTPS defines open access with the following conditions:

  • Peer-reviewed literature is available free of charge with no subscription or price barriers.
  • The literature is immediately published in open access format.
  • Published material may be reused without permission as long as the original article is properly cited.

All articles published by the Journal of Theory and Practice in Sport (JTPS) are immediately accessible to everyone under the open access policy. Therefore,

  • Everyone has free and unlimited access to the full texts of articles published by JTPS.
  • Everyone can use the published articles, provided that they cite the original article when necessary.

Full texts of articles published by JTPS can be downloaded, read, distributed and re-used without permission from the author or publisher.

Permissions

No special permission is required for the use of articles published by JTPS. For articles published under the Creative Common CC BY license, the original article may be used if the source is properly cited. Reuse of an article does not imply endorsement by the authors or JTPS.


Our journal has signed the Budapest Open Access declaration: View signature

With this signature, JTPS Budapest accepts this definition and fulfills the requirements of the Open Access Initiative. All published scientific literature has been peer-reviewed and open access is provided.
