Aim & Scope


Journal of Anatolia and Balkan Studies is a biannual journal. Our journal's purpose is to formulate the connection between Anatolia and the Balkans throughout history in an academic manner, provide a scholarly guide, become a central source of research in History, Geography, Archaeology, Literature, Art History, Architecture etc. and also to reveal the unknown about these two geographies. 

Journal of Anatolia and Balkan Studies as per its goal, brings together scholarly work on Anatolia and the Balkans in various disciplines and reveals the historical traces of people in the two geographies. It also frames how peoples of two regions, through artistic and architectural works and social lives hosted civilizations in the regions. Our journal will additionally include works on how other geographies affected both Anatolia and the Balkans, together and independently and how much role the peoples of these two regions played regarding this impact
