Asst. Prof. Dr. Uğur Yasin ASAL is Political Scientist at Istanbul Ticaret University and Head of the Political Science and International Relations Department as well. He has several scientific books and book chapters such as; “Russian Foreign Policy towards Baltic States: Cooperation or Discourse?”, “Basic Concepts of International Relations” and “Security Problems in Asia and its Reflections”. He has also scientific articles on international relations, political systems, security and strategic studies which have been published in various journals. His research interests are international security, strategy, regional conflict management, prosperity, G20 and international political economy. He is member of Council of International Relations and TOBB (The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey) Istanbul Young Entrepreneurs Assembly Research & Publications Commission.
