Bio
Dr. Mesut KURULGAN is a Professor at Anadolu University in the Department of Formal Education. He graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Information Management in 1987. He received his Master's degree from Anadolu University Institute of Social Sciences (Department of Business Administration, Program in Management and Organization) in 1997. He received his Ph.D. degree from Anadolu University with his research on “The Effects of Information Technology on Management Functions in University Libraries and a Research in Connection with the Application in Turkey”, in 2004. He was awarded the title of Professor in the field of Formal Education, in 2017. His main fields of study are Library and Information Science, Information Management, Library Administration, Bibliometrics, Business Management, Information Literacy, Information Literacy in Open and Distance Learning, and Ethics of Science and Research Techniques. He has published more than 50 articles in international journals, books, book chapters and papers presented at international conferences.
