Gerçekçi Matematik Eğitimi Üzerine Bir Kuramsal Çalışma

Year 2021, Volume: 3 Issue: 1, 48 - 73, 30.06.2021

Abstract

A Theoretical Study on Realistic Mathematics Education

Year 2021, Volume: 3 Issue: 1, 48 - 73, 30.06.2021

Abstract

This study focuses on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). There are frequent studies that have been done on RME, but it is thought to be weak in terms of practice. It is recommended to prepare lesson plans for this approach, especially in the primary school period. In this context, it is thought that this study will help teachers and prospective teachers during the preparation of lesson plans. As the framework of the study, first of all, knowledge about RME is given, the difference with other learning approaches is explained, its relation with socio-constructivist is emphasized, and the stages of mathematization are mentioned. It is emphasized which features of the RME approach is used while it is included in the learning-teaching process, and finally, what is taken into consideration when preparing a lesson plan is determined.
