YERİNDE YAŞLANMA ÖLÇEĞININ GELİŞTİRİLMESI VE PSİKOMETRİK ÖZELLİKLERİ

Abstract

Bu çalışma yaşlıların yaşadığı çevreden
memnuniyet düzeyini belirlemeye yönelik “yerinde yaşlanma ölçeği
geliştirme amacına dönüktür.
Veriler
Türkiye’nin yedi bölgesinde kırsal ve kentsel kesimde yaşayan toplam 189 (115
kadın ve 74 erkek) yaşlı bireyden toplanmıştır. Çalışmanın verileri
araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan yerinde yaşlanmayı ölçtüğü varsayılan 62
maddelik bir ölçme aracı ile toplanmıştır. Bir dizi analiz sonucunda 15
maddeden oluşan üç faktörlü bir ölçme aracı elde edilmiştir. Faktör analizi uygulamasında
verilerin yorumlanması için varimax eksen döndürme tekniği uygulanmıştır.
15  maddeden oluşan ölçme aracında  birinci faktör  için
7,281, ikinci faktör için 1,851 ve üçüncü faktör
için
1,759 eigen değerleri elde
edilmiştir. Maddelerin tüm ölçek içindeki varyansı  birinci faktör için % 23.66,  ikinci faktör için % 20.65 ve üçüncü faktör
için % 18.19 olmak üzere toplam % 62.50 açıklayıcılık düzeyine ulaşmıştır. Üç
faktörlü yapının itemlerinin faktör yükleri .50’nin üstündedir. Daha sonra
LISREL paket programı ile, ölçeğin uygun bir yapı olup olmadığını belirlemek
için doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır.
X2=(87, N=189)138.37,
RMSEA=.056, SRMR=.052, CFI=.98, NNFI =.98 ve GFI=.91 CI= .038-.073 ile mükemmel
ve iyi düzeyde uyum değerlerine ulaşmıştır.
Elde edilen 15 maddeli ölçeğin güvenirliği için hesaplanan
cronbach alfa katsayısı faktör bir için .85, faktör iki için .84 ve  faktör üç için  .85 ve tüm ölçek için .90 olarak elde
edilmiştir. Sonuçta, yaşlı bireylerin uzun süredir yaşadıkları çevreden
memnuniyet düzeyini ölçmek amacıyla, güvenilirlik ve geçerliği yüksek bir “Yerinde Yaşlanma Ölçeği” geliştirilmiştir.
