ALDATILMA ALGISI ÖLÇEĞİ’NİN GELİŞTİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, romantik ilişkilerde aldatılma algısı ölçeğinin geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmaya İstanbul’da bulunan üniversitelerin farklı bölümlerinde okuyan 571 üniversite öğrencisi katılmıştır. Ölçeğin geliştirilmesi sürecinde öncelikle ilgili alan yazına dayanarak oluşturulan ve kapsam geçerliliği bağlamında uzmanların görüşüne göre şekillenen 46 maddeden oluşan ölçek ile pilot uygulama gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ardından geçerlik ve güvenirlik analizleri yapılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, ölçeğin 2 faktörlü yapıda toplam 28 maddeden oluştuğu; ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ile de ölçeğin model veri uyumunun kabul edilebilir olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Güvenirlik analizlerinde ise Cronbach Alfa değerleri Belirgin Aldatılma Algısı alt boyutu için .96, Belirsiz Aldatılma Algısı alt boyutu için .97 ve Aldatılma Algısı toplam puanı için .95 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Tüm bu verilere dayanarak, Aldatılma Algısı Ölçeği’nin romantik ilişki yaşayan kişilerin aldatılmaya ilişkin algılarını belirlemede kullanılabilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğu görülmektedir. Açıklanan varyans %76 bulunmuştur.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE INFIDELITY PERCEPTION SCALE

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a scale for assessing perceived infidelity in romantic relationships. A total of 571 university students from various departments in Istanbul participated. Initially, a 46-item scale was created based on relevant literature and expert opinions, followed by pilot testing. Validity and reliability analyses were then conducted. Results showed that the scale comprised 28 items in a two-factor structure, with confirmatory factor analysis confirming its acceptable model fit. Reliability analyses indicated high Cronbach's Alpha values: .96 for Explicit Infidelity Perception, .97 for Implicit Infidelity Perception, and .95 for total Infidelity Perception score. These findings suggest that the Infidelity Perception Scale is a valid and reliable tool for assessing individuals' perceptions of infidelity in romantic relationships. The explained variance was 76%.
