Çevrim İçi Eğitim Sürecinde Ortaokul Öğrencilerinin Sosyal Duygusal Yeterliklerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Covid 19 salgını neticesinde yüzyüze eğitime geçiş yapılmasına bağlı olarak öğrencilerin çevrim içi eğitim yeterlik algıları ile sosyal duygusal yeterlikleri arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Araştırma parallel karma desende yürütülmüştür. Nicel aşamada ilişkisel tarama yöntemi, nitel aşamada ise durum çalışması yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada 687 ortaokul öğrencisi ile çevrim içi eğitim yeterlik algıları ile sosyal duygusal yeterlikler arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Üçüncü aşamada ise 20 ortaokul öğrencisi ile çevrim içi eğitim sürecinde yaşadıkları deneyimlere ilişkin görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Genel sonuç olarak, araştırma bulguları ortaokul öğrencilerinin çevrim içi eğitim yeterlik algılarının ve sosyal duygusal yeterliklerinin genel olarak yüksek olduğunu göstermiştir. Diğer taraftan öğrencilerin çevrim içi eğitim yeterlik algılarının sınıf düzeyi, kardeş sayısı, babanın ekonomik getirisi, kendisine ait bir odaya sahip olması ve çevrim içi eğitimden yararlanmak için kullandığı cihaz türü ile ilişkili olduğunu ancak cinsiyet, anne baba eğitim durumu ve annenin ekonomik getirisi ile bir ilişkisi olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Çevrim içi eğitim yeterlik algısı ile sosyal duygusal yeterlik algısının da ilişkili olduğu ve aralarında orta düzeyde pozitif yönde korelasyon olduğu görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin sosyal duygusal yeterlik algılarının öğrencilerin anne ve babasının eğitim durumu, kardeş sayısı, evinde kendisine ait bir odasının olması, babanın ekonomik getirisi olan bir işe sahip olması ile ilişkili olduğu ancak sınıf düzeyi, cinsiyeti, sahip oldukları teknolojik cihaz ve annenin ekonomik getirisi ile ilişkisinin olmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Öğrenci görüşlerine göre Çevrim İçi Eğitim, Öğrenci İmkanları ve Öğrenci Farkındalığı başlıklarında 3 tema 6 kategori ve 19 kod oluşturulmuştur.
