Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının bilim insanlarının bir bilimsel araştırmayı nasıl gerçekleştirdikleri ve bu süreçte oluşan bilimsel bilginin hangi özelliklere sahip olduğunu kavramalarını sağlamaktır. Bu bağlamda, “Süt” etkinliği, öğretmen adaylarına bilimsel bilginin gözlem ve çıkarımlara dayalı olduğu, hayal gücü ve yaratıcılık içerdiği ve deneysel bir doğaya sahip olduğu özelliklerini kazandırmaktadır. Örneklemi oluşturan 55 öğretmen adayıyla 5’erli bilim insanı grupları oluşturularak yürütülen etkinlik, öğretmen adaylarının tahmin yapması ile başlamakta ve kendi araştırma sorularını oluşturup, oluşturdukları araştırma sorularını test etme süreci ile devam etmektedir. Etkinlik sürecinde, öğretmen adaylarının kendi araştırma sorularını oluştururken hayal gücü ve yaratıcılıklarını kullandıkları ve gözlem ve çıkarımın birbirinden farklı kavramlar olduğunu fark ettikleri belirlenmiştir.
