The aim of the study is to determine the attitudes of university hospital staff regarding the accuracy, acceptability and applicability of the performance model created based on department efficiency and productivitiy in university hospitals. In the study consisting of a total of 43 items, it was investigated whether the personnel showed significant differences in terms of demographic variables in five different dimensions as well as their evaluations on the additional payment model based on department efficiency. According to the results, dissatisfaction arising from the performance system in assistant health personnel is higher than in other employee groups. This situation is thought to stem from the perception of not being able to benefit from the additional payment in proportion to the additional workload brought by the performance system. As a result, employee perception is high that a department-based additional payment model to be created in this direction will help the efficient and effective use of public resources, and that decisions can be taken on time and more consistently.
