İstasyon Tekniğinin Uygulandığı Fen Ve Teknoloji Dersine İlişkin Öğrenci Görüş Ve Performanslarının Değerlendirilmesi
Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı; ilköğretim 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin istasyon tekniğiyle işlenen fen ve teknoloji dersine ilişkin öğrenci görüşleri ve performanslarının değerlendirilmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda 2013-2014 Eğitim-Öğretim yılının I. döneminde İstanbul ilinin Kadıköy ilçesinde bulunan Melahat Akkutlu Ortaokulu 7. Sınıflarda çalışma yürütülmüştür. Öğrencilerin istasyon tekniğiyle ilgili görüşlerini almak için 11 sorudan oluşan ‘istasyonlarda öğrenme tekniği görüşme formu’ uygulanmıştır. Formun sonuçları değerlendirilirken tanımlayıcı istatistiksel metotlar (sayı, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma) kullanılmıştır. Veriler incelendiğinde öğrencilerin istasyon tekniğine olumlu baktıkları ve dersten zevk aldıkları görülmüştür. Fen ve teknoloji dersinin yanı sıra diğer birçok derste de bu tekniğin kullanılmasının faydalı olacağı sonucuna varılmıştır. Araştırmada öğrencilerin uygulama sürecinde performanslarını gözlemlemek amacıyla 4’lü Likert tipi 9 maddeden oluşan ‘gözlem formu’ kullanılmıştır. Gözlem formunun sonuçları değerlendirilirken tanımlayıcı istatistiksel metotları (sayı, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma) kullanılmıştır. Veriler incelendiğinde etkinlik süresince öğrencilerin katılımının arttığı gözlenmiştir.
Evaluation Of Student Opinions And Performances In Science And Technology Courses Taught Via Station Technique
Abstract
The aim of this study is to evaluate the 7th grade students’ opinions and performances in science and technology courses taught via station technique. In parallel with this purpose, the ,implementations were done on 7th grade students of Melahat Akkutlu Secondary School in Kadıköy district of Istanbul city in 1 st semester of 2013-2014 educational year. In onder to gather the opinions of students about the station technique, the “Interview from for method of Learning in Stations” consisting of 11 questions was implemented. While evaluating the from’s results, the definitive statistical methods (number, percentage, mean, standard deviation) were utilized. When the data was assessed,it was seen that students look positively at station technique and they enjoyed the lessons. It has been concluded that the use of this technique would be beneficial in many other courses besides the science and technology course. In order to observe the performances of the students during the research,a 4-point Likert type observation form consisting of 9 questions was implemened. While assessing the results of observation from, the definitive statistical methods were utilized. When the data was investigated, it was seen that the participation of the students has improved
