Gelişim Göstergeleri Bağlamında Türkiye’nin Uluslararası Çerçeveden Görünümü

Abstract

Bilgi toplumunda kalkınma ve gelişimin neden ve sonuçları çeşitli göstergelerle tanımlanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada eğitim, ekonomi, sağlık ve bilişim ile ilgili göstergeler arasındaki istatistiksel ilişkiler hesaplanmıştır. Bulgular insani gelişimin eğitimle bağlantılı olduğunu göstermektedir. Sonuçlar Türkiye’nin gelişim sorunlarının başlıca nedeninin ekonomik yetersizlik değil eğitime yeterli yatırımın yapılmayışı olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Eğitime verilen önemin söylemden eyleme dönüştürülmesi önerilmektedir.
