Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı;
ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin okul yaşam kalitesi düzeylerini belirlemek ve
cinsiyet, sınıf düzeyi, lise türü ve okul büyüklüğü değişkenlerine göre
öğrencilerin okul yaşam kalitesi algılarını ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmada genel
tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi 2012-2013 eğitim-öğretim
yılı 2. döneminde Malatya ili Battalgazi ve
Yeşilyurt ilçelerindeki okullarda öğrenim gören 575 öğrenci
oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri “Lise Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği” ile
toplanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen
veriler analiz edilirken, öncelikle betimsel istatistik hesaplamaları
yapılmıştır. Öğrencilerin okul yaşam kalitesine ilişkin algılarının cinsiyet
değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılık gösterip göstermediğini belirlemek için
Mann-Whitney U testi, sınıf düzeyi, okul büyüklüğü ve lise türü değişkenlerine
göre anlamlı farklılık gösterip göstermediğini belirlemek için Kruskal-Wallis H
testi kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin lise yaşam kalitesi ölçeğinde yer
alan ifadelere “orta” düzeyde katıldıkları belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin okul
yaşam kalitesi algıları cinsiyet, okul türü ve okul büyüklüğü değişkenlerinde
anlamlı farklılık göstermemektedir. Okul türü değişkeninde öğrencilerin okul yaşam kalitesi
algıları anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmaktadır.
